Gene Name Converter

The Gene Name Converter has been updated for all species (April, 2007)

PLEASE NOTE: Synonyms for Arabidopsis have been CHANGED (October 15, 2007)

Due to idiosyncrasies in the TAIR synonym table, some gene names were converted to non-standard names and therefore appeared to have no GO information for them. If you used the converter between April and October 15, 2007 and ran GeneMerge you may want to re-analyze your data by i) converting your gene names again ii) running GeneMerge again. Please note that ALL PREVIOUS ANALYSES ARE STASTICALLY CORRECT, they are just not as information rich as they could be. Again, this applies only to Arabidopsis. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

You can paste gene names below to generate an output file with standard gene names that can be used in GeneMerge.
There are three output files:

List of paired matches
List of genes for which no standard gene name can be found
List of standard gene names alone (for easy cut-and-paste into GeneMerge).
